What is a SAVER-design vessel?

SAVER stands for Seaspan Action for Vessel Energy Reduction, and is Seapan’s eco-vessel initiative geared toward vessel efficiency and optimization through various vessel design and equipment enhancements. Some of the enhancements include optimized hull, rudder and propeller designs, as well as flexible engines and machinery, all serving to maximize fuel efficiency for our customers and minimize impact on the environment.
