Seaspan Corporation Announces Exercise of Underwriters' Over-Allotment Option

HONG KONG, CHINA – April 30, 2007 /CNW/ – Seaspan Corporation ("Seaspan") (NYSE:SSW) announced today that the underwriters of its recent common share offering exercised a portion of the over-allotment option granted to them by Seaspan. As a result of the over-allotment exercise, Seaspan sold 475,000 of its shares and received $13,429,200 in net proceeds, after deducting the underwriting discount (but before expenses).

Citi and Merrill Lynch & Co. acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Dahlman Rose & Company acted as a co-manager.
